In The Flow of Life
Yes, I am, and you are in the flow of life, and we are being lifted and guided by Divine Wisdom in all we do. Yes, indeed a wonderful and powerful affirmation to start off your day for the rest of the month. Yes indeed, the spiritual faculty we will be focused on in July is Understanding! As the reading on page 2 points out, Understanding is the Spiritual Faculty of Right Relationships! I know as some people consider that statement based on the English language and our culture, they will immediately think of personal and love relationships! But then that is not actually what the person who wrote the article meant, although understanding the Spiritual Faculty of Understanding can have a huge effect on those relationships.
In Unity, Spiritual Understanding is not about having compassion, although that is nice and the way the word understanding is typically used today! It is about understanding how the pieces of a puzzle will fit together. Or perhaps how it might be explained in the classroom setting called Life, when discussing how the Law of Cause and Effect (Karma) works. When the wind is blowing and there is a piece of paper on the ground, the wind will pick up that piece of paper and carry it down the street. Or perhaps, it is like the young boy who was sitting in the booth next to me at the Mystic Vortex Expo. He was sitting in front of screen, when someone behind the screen hit a large gong. He leaped out of the chair and just looked at the screen. The gong created a huge vibration which effected every cell of his being! I could tell he just wanted to scream.
You see our galaxy is a vortex, a field of Creative Energy! This Creative Energy flows within a certain pattern that is very predictable, except when it doesn’t. This Creative Energy may hit a block and will explode, or be directed in another direction which creates chaos in the line that it takes. Planet Earth operates in the same way. It rotates every 24 hours, as the moon circles around it, as we travel around the sun every 365 days a year. As scientists have studied and sought to “understand” the patterns of this Creative Energy, they have developed technologies that have “advanced” our civilization.
This Creative Energy also surrounds and enfolds Mother Earth and has brought forth all of nature and it all flows within a certain pattern that is very predictable. When we seek to live in awareness of this Creative Energy and understand the patterns and systems, we live in peace, harmony and abundance. Now there will be times when this Creative Energy may hit a block, and will explode, or be directed in other directions which creates chaos in the new line it now takes.
This Creative Energy also operates within our own lives and throughout our bodies. While we are taught some of the ways it works, we are not taught about all the ways the Creative Energy operates! We need to develop fuller and more complete understanding of the mystical dimension of our nature. Like how the words we speak create a vibration in the invisible ethers that shapes and forms them in accordance with those words. Those words (our Creative Energy) will then shape and form our reality. It is like the person who hit the gong behind that panel, which created a vibration that caused the little boy to jump up in fear.
What if we were truly aware of the vibration we create in the world, and how one vibration effects the world around us and consequently creates another vibration, and another vibration. Just as a boat moves through the water of a lake creating a wave that effects everyone around the boat and on the shore. So, what type of vibration are you creating and effecting in the world around you?
So, I invite you to declare, “I am in the flow of life! I Am being lifted and guided by Divine Wisdom in all I do. I am on the leading edge of Creation, with every thought I think.
