Harry Potter is being raised by his aunt and uncle, and required to be a servant to pay his rent for his room which is a closet beneath the stairs. In a series of strange happening he becomes aware that he has unique gifts and talents that need to be developed at Hogwarts School, a school for the gifted and talented.
