A Conversation on a Course Sunday mornings at 9:30 am A Course In Miracles is a text inspired by Turning Point experiences of “Helen and Bill,” who found themselves in deep conflict and decided they needed to find a solution and began to have a conversation about how to find “It.” The night before they began Helen began to feel a “prompting,” perhaps It was a “voice,” and she began to take notes. Bill would then type those “notes” out, on those things called a type writer. The transcript that would be called, “A Course in Miracles,” (ACIM) would evolve during the late 60’s and earlier 70’s. When finally published, it caught fire in people seeking to experience “these miracles.” Although ACIM is taught in many Unity churches, it is not a Unity Teaching. But it does discuss one of Unity’s Cornerstone teachings, although it uses different terminology than Unity’s teachings on that Cornerstone belief. There in lies the confusion. USLC has had many ACIM legendary teachers here, Jerry Jamposky, John Mundy, Jennifer Hadley, Mariann Williamson and the list goes on and on.
