Sunday Mornings at 9:30 What Are You? Would you like to become acquainted with your true Self? In a formal setting you might be asked “who are you?” and you may answer, “I am Mary Brown, I am just a homemaker.” Not True!! Imelda Shanklin states “We will never know our true identity until we allow the mind of God to instruct us as to “who and what” we really are.” This series of classes will be based on Imelda Shanklin’s powerful book “What Are You?” It explores parts of you deeper self, that you might not always be aware of, without that awareness you may find yourself lost in the sea of life and at the control of the mortal mind, which loves being in the chaos. The intent of this series of instruction is to advance you from childhood into adulthood of your spirituality, and if your thinking is troubled by this invitation, then, you really need it! The tools that we will use to accomplish this are contemplation, concentration upon our Higher Self, and envisioning climbing Jacob’s Ladder
