The Theology of Jesus

The Theology of Jesus Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm Rev. Patrick believes that Jesus The Christ, left us some of the most powerful Spiritual teachings of all time and when we can take these teachings that were left us to discern and integrate into our lives, we will become open to whole new reality, which has been there all the time. But as Emma Curtis Hopkins pointed out over and over again in her book High Mysticism, “The inspired Jesus of Jewish Mysticism offered the joy and peace of plenty to the Christians”, saying search the Scriptures. But they ran away from the inspiration of the Sacred Books and got up their own text, “Poverty and Penance. So Christians have had to struggle with poverty…and penance…ignoring Peace and Plenty. They rejected his generous beneficiary…” Unfortunately, most of us were taught this version of Christianity, has opposed to the teachings of being the way of joy, peace and plenty… Whether you are conscious of the way you may have been taught or not, it may be holding you back on your journey across the Field of Infinite Possibilities It’s time we repent, it’s time we turn around and believe in the Good News (Gospel). That we breathe in the breath of life and allow it to fill every cell of our being so we might be light and more that Jesus said we were. As Jesus said when he ended his Sermon on the Mount, Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.” In another words, if we act on his words, we will be blessed and empowered to live on a solid foundation. Although we will focus on the teachings he shared with us in the Sermon On the Mount we will cover other key teachings he shared, like: Where is Heaven; the I am Teachings; and the Logos. Text that will help you to understand these teachings are: Discover the Power Within You, by Eric Butterworth; Sermon on the Mount by Emmet Fox; and Prayers of the Cosmos, by Neil Douglas Koltz Join us for what is sure to be an uplifting class with lots of eye opening questions. Presented on a Love offering basis
