The Fountain, A month of Movies. March 10th at 1:15 pm A man seeks immortality travels through the past, present and future; along the way he learns about love, death and what it means to be alive. He picks up a traveling partner to move across time and space: a conquistador and his ill-fated queen, a modern-day scientist and his cancer-stricken wife, and a traveler immersed in a universal journey alongside aspects of his lost love. In the process we get to learn some mythology about the Tree of Life, and a pond filled with Living Waters. The Fountain is epic magical realism romantic drama film that blends elements of fantasy, history, spirituality, and fiction. It is directed by Darren Aronofsky, and stars Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz
