Flowers Gone Wild

This morning as I was “cooking” my breakfast, I looked out my Sun Room’s window and I felt compelled to walk out into my backyard garden which I have been wanting to do for the past week.  But I haven’t because I was a little busy with the Garage Sale and other “stuff!” The flowers have gone wild trying to seek my attention! A dozen bright red Hybricus flowers bursting out, my pretty pink Roses, the Texas Prim Roses stretching across the back, the 4 Yuccas have just bloomed and then there is this bluish-purple wild flower (Bluebonnet) reaching up to the sky between all the other flowers. A wonderland to my delight, simply amazing! With all the rain we have had this spring it has certainly inspired Mother Nature to paint a beautiful picture.

Our Garage Sale this past weekend also went a little wild! I want to thank all those who donated items for sale; thank you, thank you, thank you! And I want to thank all those who volunteered for this very successful event, as items and “customers” flowed in; at times it was a little hard to keep up! Wow, thank you thank you thank you! You all are amazing!

You might even say that the flowers gone wild and the Garage Sale were the result of an active group imagination! We all love beautiful flowers, especially when we get too much rain, and many of us at Unity were holding the vision of a successful Garage Sale; even if it seemed to arise out of no-where! Imagination is actually the Spiritual Faculty for the month of June.  Perhaps Imagination is the Spiritual Faculty we should learn to harness and direct before focusing on any of the other faculties! Why? Because the imagination located in the brow, (the spot between your eyebrows) which some call the 3rd eye, reaches out into the invisible ethers, a realm of infinite possibilities, and begins to shape and form them in accordance with whatever you are thinking!

Oops, what were you thinking? A beautiful array of flowers, and a fantastic Garage Sale or some crazy guy lost in his monkey mind chatter? You see how easily we can get lost in the worldly western mind’s chaos, as opposed to focusing on the goodness of the Garden of Eden in which we live!

What we need to learn to do, when we are involved in our creative process (which is all the time) is to engage the Spiritual Faculty of Faith! Intentionally looking beyond the appearance of what might be, into the realm of the invisible! Then shaping and forming the invisible ethers into whaS t we would like to experience. Yes, it does sound a little difficult, because we have all been taught to do just the opposite! So, it takes a little practice in focusing on the “positive” and the things we would like to experience, as opposed to the negative and all the things that we think are wrong and bad. And yes, I know, I know, there is no right or wrong, or good or bad, there is only the All and the Now! And that is why we have to learn to also engage the Spiritual Faculty of Spiritual Discernment.  So that we may discern in every instance what is in our highest and best interest and what might be the best way we might proceed, so we can draw to us our heart’s desire.

So, can you still smell the Roses, and the Hibiscus and all those wonderful flowers, and are you able to jump into the flow of the chaos of a garage sale, so you can experience the wonder of the Garden of Eden with all its delights? Well like I said, we all have to make it a practice of focusing the Power of our Spiritual Faculty of Imagination on what we would like to experience, so we can enjoy all the flowers gone wild that are in our life. And yes, to direct the power of our Imagination, we must also have engaged the powers of Faith and Spiritual Discernment! Wow, it is all happening in this moment now!

Namaste I see the light moving in You!   RevDocPatrick
