How To Pray Without Talking To God

How To Pray Without Talking To God Family Prayer Circle Study Group Series Begins March 8th How do you pray? As if God were a hovering super-parent, a cosmic bodyguard, a mean disciplinary, or an enigmatic Wizard of Oz? Perhaps you continue to pray to God to get him to change his mind about you, or to plead or ask for something you think you need, or let you off the hook for something you did bad, and it just feels right or seems to satisfy your soul? Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett author of the book How to Pray Without Talking To God, used to pray that way, until she realized a better more soul-filling way. Rev. Linda writes, “Has your awareness of God expanded beyond normal religious conversation?” “Perhaps you are ready to move into a concept that is not limited by dogma” or creed and your soul longs to embrace the Living Presence that surrounds and enfolds you, yet you are not quite sure of how to do this. Then this book is for you! The series that we will be discussing the book is also designed for you. The Family Prayer Circle Study Group series will be a group of individuals who will be gathering in homes across the area to discuss the very powerful book, titled How To Pray Without Talking To God. The book was written by Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett, the winner of the Best Spiritual Author Competition, sponsored by Hampton Roads Publishing Company. The book caught the attention of several of our prayer team members who wanted to share its insights with you and how Unity’s unique process of prayer can transform your life.
