Celebrating Mother’s Day

Celebrating Mother’s Day On May 14th, we celebrate Mother’s Day, a day set aside to specifically honor our mothers. The cards, flowers, and gift baskets are all wonderful ways to acknowledge our mothers, but I wanted to go the extra mile this year and include a personal memory note. A personal memory note is a note written in longhand of a fond memory with mom. The note goes along with flowers or gift basket, but I’m sure the note will be remembered long after the flowers or gift basket are gone. I invite you to find a special way to say I love you to your mom this Mother’s Day. As a special gift bring your mom to church on Mother’s Day, we will have a special gift for her, and a delightful lunch so you don’t have to wait in one of those really long lines on one of the busiest days of the year in restaurants.
