Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Starring Donny Osmond. Sunday August 13th at 1:15 PM Growing up with a mother that loved musical productions and plays, I spent a lot of time in theaters. Not the most exciting thing for 5 to 12 year-old boy to do. But one of the most amazing, and I do say amazing Broadway plays I ever got to see, was the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond, in the Chicago Theater. As an adult resistant to plays, it just blew me away! The theatrical arrangements, the metaphysical meaning of the story brought to the forefront and the singing of Donny Osmond. Wow. Some one shared with me a DVD of that production and asked if we could show it. Of Course I said, Yes! But I need someone to watch it with.
