Rev. Yvonne’s Bio

Rev. Yvonne McAndrew is a motivational speaker and leader in the New Thought Movement.  Yvonne captivates her audience with her charismatic charm, and enthusiasm, for life.  She speaks from the heart as she shares inspirational stories, insights, and life skills that have supported her along her spiritual journey.  Rev. Yvonne is co-minister at Unity Spiritual Life Center in OKC, along with her husband Rev. Patrick McAndrew.  You will enjoy Rev. Yvonne’s positive, practical, progressive approach to spirituality.  Her mission is to enrich, empower, and inspire personal transformation and peace on earth, in her lifetime.  

In 1986, Yvonne found Unity in Chicago, where she describes her first Unity experience as “a coming home.”  Yvonne became an active member and became of sacred service in a variety of ways in her new church home. Rev. Mike and Sara Matoin were an inspiration to Yvonne and Patrick.

In 1987 began actively involved in Unity’s Spiritual Education And Enrichment Program, studying with Rev. Ed Rabel, Rev. Frank Guidici, Rev. Janet Manning, and Rev. Sallye Taylor at Unity Institute. 

In 1989 Yvonne and Patrick began teaching introductory classes into Unity Philosophy and teachings.  They also experienced the unique teachings of Edwene Gaines, Julia Cameron, Wayne Dwyer, and more…

1995 moved from Chicago Illinois to Kansas City while her husband attending Unity Ministerial Education Program. 

1996 completed the SDS training and became a Licensed Unity Teacher. 

In 2000 Yvonne took on the Youth Education Director duties at Unity Spiritual Life Center in Oklahoma City.

2005 Yvonne became the Spiritual Leader of Unity in Norman

2007 Yvonne entered Unity’s Field Licensing Program on her path of becoming a minister.

2010 Rev. Yvonne returned to Unity Spiritual Life Center in Oklahoma City and became co-minister with her husband.

In March 2012 Rev. Yvonne will complete her work and study in becoming an Ordained and Licensed Unity Minister.

Prior to her husband enter ministerial school in 1995; Yvonne had worked for Hertz Rental Car. After 10 years of dedicated service, was promoted to an Operation Manager of Licensed Hertz Rental Car Agency, Evanston Illinois.  Due to her keen customer service skills the Agency quickly became one of leading agency of Chicago Metropolitan Area.
