Oneness Blessing

Awaken Your Inner Being
Many have tried to explain what the Oneness Blessing is and does, but it is not something that can really be explained, unless experienced first hand! In a way it can be compared to various types of Reiki or a “laying on of the hands.” However it is also a unique, opening technique that allows the soul’s chakras to be cleansed of their negative energies. The sense of pure joy is the result; you will leave feeling refreshed. Presented on a love-offering basis.

Unity’s World Day of Prayer
Wednesday September 8th & Thursday September 9th
A sacred circle that will change the world,
Unity’s Seventeenth Annual World Day of Prayer.
Unity’s World Day of Prayer is an annual celebration to affirm peace, abundance and love on an individual and global level. This year’s theme is “Living in the Flow.”
United in prayer, we will affirm:
We are living expressions of Divine Light Flowing into the World.
Every year we connect with a world wide energy circuit of prayer to call for God’s Love, peace and abundance to flow into the world. Through prayer, we can transform the world.
We will be participating in this worldwide event here at Unity Spiritual Life Center and here is a scheduled of the activities.
Wednesday September 8th

Sacred Labyrinth Walk after meditation
Thursday September 9th
11:00 am Life Stream Silent Unity Healing Service from Unity Village
12:00 pm A Healing Meditation with Rev. Patrick
1 pm – 6 pm Holding the Sacred Space of Prayer
6 pm A Guided Meditation with Dana Carpenter
7:00 pm World Peace Meditation and Oneness Blessing

Through the Transformation Experience our community has grown a lot, and achieved a number of milestones! We are a different community as a result – fuller, deeper, wiser, more harmonious, more intentional about our purpose and our direction. Yes what a year it has been, and now it’s time to celebrate!

Empowering Communication
8-Week Evening Class
Starting Monday Sept. 13 7pm
Beginners Welcome
Communication Is A Dance. Kinesthetic Nonviolent Communication uses visual, auditory and experiential learning modalities to support the learner in internalizing all facets of Compassionate Communication. This has been the favorite class for many because it meets needs for integration, fluency, ease and fun. We will learn and practice all of the following dances:
Anger: for transforming anger and empowering ourselves as it arises.
Yes / No: when I am facing a challenging “Yes / No” decision.
Self-Empathy: for self-connection, self-compassion and self-understanding.
Educator-Chooser: when I’ve done something I now regret & want to grow from it.
Inner/Outer Dances, 1,2 & 3: when I am needing to speak my truth and hear yours.

Facilitator: Tom McLain is a Communication Coach, Facilitator, and Consultant. He teaches needs-based conscious communication skills through training, facilitating and coaching using the principles of Compassionate ‘Nonviolent Communication’ (NVC).
