Children's Church


Unity’s Children’s Sunday School experience is much different than what many of us experienced as children.

Our Children’s Church is founded on the belief that as we enter the world through birth we are innate whole spiritual beings and that we already know God’s love and presence as that is where we came from.

Consequently we believe that all the knowledge we will ever need is already within us, and it is simply a matter of drawing that knowledge out through spiritual insight, rather than trying to fill a child’s head with a lot of information.

 The focus is on keeping a child’s awareness of God’s Spirit within them burning, facilitating that process through the use of stories, parables, and the creative arts.

In asking the right questions we can open a child’s awareness and inspire a deeper insight. We provide children the tools allowing them to make wise spiritual choices.

We offer UniTot’s, UniKids, UniTeens and YOU programs  during 11 am Worship Service. We also offer childcare during the Adult Sunday School at 9:30.

Rev. McAndrew teaches a variety of parenting classes and special teaching techniques for children, and he would be happy to share these resources with you.
