Over the past few years, our world has been confronted by an economic crisis that has not been experienced since the great depression.  Many people across our country and around the world have experienced financial hardships and their life lies in ruin as a result.  Skepticism about the future is rampant, doubt, worry and anxiety is expressed in abundances, what ever are we to do in these challenging times?  

Charles Fillmore spoke on this very topic in at the Hall of Mirrors right here in Oklahoma City on October 20, 1946 Hall of Mirrors Oklahoma City, Ok.  He said,

“Now our subject this morning, ‘The Open Door to Health, and Prosperity,’ is something that the whole world needs.  You will doubtless agree with me.  Never before in the history of this world was there such a need for a religion that will demonstrate, what?  Why, health and Prosperity and everything else!

There is no doubt that when God gave his message to the people of the earth, he gave it as a blanket proposition- a check we will say – signed – to be filled out by the recipient.

But are we filling out the check?  Are we taking advantage of our religion?  Well, we all say, of course we are.  We are Christians, we are teaching what Jesus Christ taught!

Are you sure that you are teaching what Jesus Christ taught?  …People have not really understood the teachings Jesus left us; they have not understood that there is a scientific side to Christianity.  It has been taught as a religion, something that you are going to get the full benefit of after you are dead.  Jesus Christ did not teach that at all.  He said let the dead bury their dead; the kingdom of God is at hand, (within you grasp) repent (change your mind) and hear the good news (The Gospel).  He said come follow me; I am alive.  And that is what Christianity teaches.  It teaches life to people.

 It does not teach them what they are going to have after death.  I don’t know anything of the after death proposition, neither do you, nobody else knows… So let’s get alive and let Christianity make you alive.  Jesus Christ said, “ I come that you might have life and more abundant life.”

More Abundant Life – that is what we all need – a larger consciousness of omnipresent life.  Where is it?  Everywhere!  So then in presenting this subject of the open door, we have to start with the proposition that life is everywhere present and every one of us has within our consciousness, a doorway.”

What is through that doorway? But than that is just the beginning. It is our hope that through these writings you will get glimpse into a much larger reality, into the ever-expanding eternal ethers that lie just beyond our sight. 

What is Prosperity? Edwene Gaines said, “It’s not just about money. Prosperity is an all-sufficiency of every good thing the heart desires; satisfying love, peaceful presence, wisdom for guidance, and an abundant supply to meet every need.  Would you like to experience every good thing that heart desires?
