MY FAITH

by Myrtle Fillmore, 1897

I do not believe in evil. I believe in Good.

I do not believe in sin. I believe in Truth.

I do not believe in want.  I believe in Abundance.

I do not belief in death.  I believe in Life.

I do not believe in ignorance. I believe in Intelligence.

There is no discord in my Being.  Being is Peace.

My faith, understanding and love are becoming one.

“What therefore, God hath joined together

Let no man put asunder.”

Namaste

A Catholic Priest and a Rabbi were chatting one day about job descriptions and promotions. The Rabbi asked, "What do you have to look forward to in way of a promotion in your job?"

The Priest replied, "Well, I'm next in line for Monsignor."

The Rabbi responded, “Wow that’s great! Then what can you aspired to?"

"Well, the priest said, “After that I could beArch-Bishop."

The Rabbi then inquired, "Yes, and then what could you be?”

The Priest countered, "If I work real hard and do a good job as Arch-Bishop, it's possible to be a full Bishop.".

"Really that’s great, then what?" inquired the Rabbi.

The Priest, a little exasperated replied, "With luck and hard work, I could be a Cardinal."

"And then?" questioned the Rabbi.

The Priest starting to get mad retorted, "With lots and lots of luck and some real difficult work and if I'm in the right places at the right times and play my political games just right, maybe, just maybe, I could get elected Pope."

"Yes, and then what?" asked the Rabbi.

"Good grief!" shouted the Priest. "What do you expect me to become, GOD?"

"Well," said the Rabbi, "One of our boys made it!"

That priest can expect to experience a lot of change in his life, how do you think he’ll handle it.

Today we are talking about the new Unity pamphlet the Survival Guide for the Soul and the article on how to handle change.  My first thought was

Awakening

Namaste – the light in me, greets the light in you!

Last winter, as a trucker stopped for a red light, a woman drove up behind him, jumped out of her car, ran to the truck’s door and knocked on it. The trucker lowered his window, and she said, "Hi, my name is Heather and you are losing some of your load." The trucker rolled his eyes and drove down the street.

When the truck stopped at the next red light, the girl caught up with it again, jumped out of her car, ran to the truck’s door and knocked on it. Again, the trucker lowered the window. Once again, the woman said very cheerfully, "Hi my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!" The trucker shook his head in disbelief and when the light turned green continued down the road.

When I Pray

Namaste

After hearing a Bible lesson all about miracles in her Sunday school class, a little girl went to her Sunday school teacher and said, "In my house, when handwriting appears on the wall, it's not a miracle; it's the work of my little brother."

A little boy was kneeling beside his bed with his mother and grandmother softly saying his prayers, "Dear God, please bless Mummy and Daddy and Grandma and all the family and please give me a good night's sleep." Then he looked up and shouted, "And don't forget to give me a bicycle for my birthday!"

His Mummy replied "There is no need to shout like that. "God isn't deaf."

The little boy then quietly answered, "No, but Grandma is."

Who Have You Come Here To Be – 09

Namaste

The vision of Unity Church of Oklahoma City is to transform the consciousness of Oklahoma City one moment, and one life, at a time as we build our community together through love.

Our mission is healing lives, realizing dreams, experiencing Spirit.

Jesus and Satan were having this ongoing argument about who was better at using the computer.   They had been really bickering about it.    Finally, God said, "Cool it!!   I am going to set up a test which will take two hours and it will judge who does the better job!"

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away. They moused,

did spreadsheets, typed reports, sent faxes, sent e-mail, sent out e-mail with attachments, they downloaded, they sent thank you letters. They did every known job.
